You are a compelling storyteller with exceptional writing and communications skills. You have a firm understanding and experience with multi channels – social, email marketing, blogging and press releases to name a few. You are detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, able to work well under deadlines and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

Our MARCOM Specialist will be involved in all aspects of our marketing communications’ functions and activities including branding and corporate messaging, lead generation campaigns, industry events and sales and marketing collateral, in order to drive aggressive revenue growth and market recognition. The position requires strong marketing communications skills to deliver compelling business value messages.

  • Corporate Communications & Collateral Materials – Create and edit company communications including data sheets, brochures, customer success stories, advertising copy, web copy, sales presentations, marketing campaigns and sales communications tools to showcase our products and business opportunities.
  • Develop understanding and knowledge of the industry and customer segments, their needs and requirements to support Groupware Technology’s success.
  • Collaborate closely with product and downstream marketing, engineering, operations, sales teams and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with goals and consistency in messaging.
  • Plan, execute and measure PR programs and tactics aimed at raising understanding and credibility of Groupware Technology’s offerings.
  • Prepare news and launch activities (with support from marketing team), including coordinating media and analyst interviews, tours, events, generating releases, presentations and other materials as appropriate.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media, analysts and industry leaders (trade or local).


Essential Core Competencies:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in marketing communications and B2B Marketing with an emphasis in technology.
  • Excellent messaging and writing skills, with ability to understand and translate technical speak and product offerings into compelling benefit messages.
  • Experience providing communications guidance to product and engineering team members and devising communications strategy
  • Strong understanding of all marketing communication vehicles, with particular strength in content creation/writing, press releases and lead generation campaigns.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented and exceptionally well-organized.
  • World-class messaging and content management experience (samples will be requested).
