Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound telephone prospecting based on lists of target customers and build pipeline
  • Assist with and/or participate in lead generation activities
  • Effectively qualify, research, and follow-up with prospects
  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads and set phone appointments
  • Contact leads by telephone, to deliver prepared sales talks, reading from scripts that describe Groupware’s value proposition
  • Working understand of our products/services and pricing to explain and answer questions from prospects
  • Field and further vet potential customers who have been solicited through marketing campaigns
  • Catch and disperse leads from website
  • Meet or exceed targeted call volumes and monthly meeting set-up quotas
  • Maintain customer database by qualifying each prospect based upon their reactions, interests and need requirements
  • Attend weekly forecast meetings, reporting on sales forecast
  • Participate fully in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development classes

 

Essential Core Competencies:

  • Excellent telephone skills, including pre-call planning, qualification and time management
  • Prospecting and qualification experience
  • Ability to learn and understand product solutions and features
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: able to talk to C-level, LOB or technical audiences
  • Ability to understand customer’s industry and core business processes
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, experience with NetSuite helpful but not required
  • Ability to work in a team environment or as an individual
  • Self-starter experience and success at exceeding minimum quotas
