CRN Names Groupware to its Second Annual Tech Elite 250 List Recognizing Solution Providers with Deep Technical Expertise and Premier Certificationss

Campbell, CA (February 23, 2012) – Groupware Technology, Inc., a leading information technology solution provider, announced today it has been named to CRN’s second annual Tech Elite 250 list. Solution providers on the list represent an elite group of North American companies that have invested in the training and education needed to earn the most technical certifications in the IT Channel.

Inclusion on the Tech Elite 250 mandates both deep technical expertise and premier level certifications. In compiling the list, CRN editors worked with the UBM Channel research group and a team of outside experts to identify the technical certifications in the IT channel that enable solution providers to deliver enhanced value, service and support to customers in North America.

This announcement comes on the heels of Groupware’s National Sales Meeting in Puerto Vallarta where the entire staff celebrated another profitable growth year and set the strategic plan and goals for 2012. Groupware President and CEO Mike Thompson explained its success, “This award and our premier level partnership status gives external validation to what we’ve known for a long time – which is that we have some of the industry’s best engineering talent. And we also have state of the art lab facilities in-house where they help test and validate new solutions, which further safeguard our customers’ data center investments.”

“The 2012 Tech Elite 250 list recognizes an exclusive group of Solution Providers that have shown a dedication to helping customers innovate while reducing costs,” said Kelley Damore, Vice President, Editorial Director at UBM Channel. “By identifying and adapting to the skills and training needed to best serve today’s customers, members of the Tech Elite 250 have proven their commitment to delivering the products and services that today’s end-users value most.”
